Our Progress Is Working
Our focus on early literacy—including dyslexia screenings—is driving real results. 3rd grade ELA achievement for students who've been with us since kindergarten:

The Reality
Many of our students are 3+ grade levels below standard. Some classrooms don't have a single student at grade level in math.

The Path Forward
We must invest in teachers—giving them the support, coaching, and resources they need to continue increasing their effectiveness.

Taxpayers need to know their money isn't being wasted and that every dollar drives real educational results. I'm courageous in pushing back against waste.

My goal is for our district itself to become a learning organization. We will try new things, measure what works, double down on successes, and fix or remove what isn't working—always with an eye toward learning together.
